Paul's Bakery is wonderful! They made a special cake for my granddaughter's 1st birthday last year and it was fantastic! And the cupcakes were a big hit. I stopped in on Monday for paczkis to take to an elderly family member, and she absolutely loved them!!

This place literally has the best baked goods I have ever had from anywhere. The doughnuts are simply sublime, as are the breads and cakes. The owner is extremely friendly and has taken to raising the ordinary to extraordinary. Highly recommended!

For my dad's 84th birthday I ordered a cake from Paul's. My dad is originally from Chicago, and he wanted a "whipped Cream" cake. I described the type of cake I was looking for and picked it up the next day. Although, I've never tasted a "whipped cream" cake from Chicago, I thought it was fabulous. My dad said it brought back fond memories of his childhood. I would highly recommend this bakery. I'm actually going to order my husband's birthday cake from here.

I live in Denver and ordered a pastry tray for my family in Marine City. I spoke with Danielle on the phone, told her what I wanted to spend, and asked her if she could really put a lot of care into it since my cousins' father had just passed away. I told her that if I lived in Michigan, I'd be baking the treats myself. I have heard nothing but raves from my cousins about the tray. They said it was very generous, varied, and that everything on it was completely delicious. The tray included various pastries, breads, rolls, and something my cousin described as a tiramisu (may have been cassatta cake). It was delivered on time and with a note from us in Denver. Thank you, Baker Danielle, for putting your talent in the kitchen into this meaningful gesture for my family who were grieving the loss of their dad. Your creativity and kindness are so appreciated!

Truly a fantastic little bakery with Baking Goddess Daniella at the helm. Everything in this bakery is delicious. As far as I know, everything is made on-site. She does the pastries and cakes and her husband does the bread (white, wheat, rye, marble, cream, you name it). If you're looking for something sweet, try the Casata Cake, the Cannoli's, the chocolate mousse cake, the pastry pretzels, or anything else, it's all amazing! If you're looking for a sweet personality, just drop by to chat with Daniella, who remembers not only my immediate family and what they're all doing, but also my out of town family who visit once or twice a year! Be warned - you can't walk in the door and walk out empty handed unless you have extraordinary willpower. But why would you want to?
